Dominant and Counter-Narrative

Today we learned the meaning of Narrative, Dominant Narrative, Stereotype, and Counter-Narrative.  With that information in mind, please follow the directions below:

  1. Go to Google Images
  2. Find a picture of a DOMINANT NARRATIVE that someone in power has told about you, or someone like you.
  3. Save that picture to your drive (Alt+Click, Save Image As..)
  4. Upload that picture to this padlet.  Add your name and period number to the title.
  5. Explain why this picture is an example of the Dominant Narrative.
