One of the great heroes of my life was a teacher who I never met.
A scientist and writer named Carl Sagan is one of the people who inspired me to teach. On a television show titled “Cosmos,” Carl Sagan managed to teach me my place in the universe. No study of the world and it’s history is complete without an understanding of how magnificent and tiny and rare and tragic and beautiful life on Earth truly is.
