Like so many schools, Fremont HS in Oakland struggles to provide material resources for the students who truly need them. Teachers (like me) often pay for school supplies or technology out of our own pockets. Anything you can do to help support my mission or education in economically challenged communities around the country is appreciated. Some magnificent people have helped my students succeed in the past few years. Words can never adequately express my gratitude. If you, or anyone you know, would like to make a contribution to this year’s students please follow the instructions below.
And remember… if you don’t contribute to MY students, please consider contributing to another classroom in need where you live.
Please go to paypal.com and contribute to our class account under firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contribute by any other means you feel comfortable with if paypal is not your thing (EX: Materials or gift cards sent to Fremont HS itself, care of Mr. Muniz). Feel free to contact me or the school for details or to verify that I am indeed a teacher. Your contributions will go to acquiring the following items for my students:
- Funds to be spent on copy paper!
- A plethora of dry-erase markers
- Thirty laminated table maps (world)
- Various tools and computer resources used in an Information Technology class.
Thank you so much for your time and support. Have a GREAT school year!
